. Kris died in a car accident in Hollywood, CA on 9-18-1991. He went to North Texas and got a degree in art and was working on a second degree in jazz guitar when he joined a traveling band called Caper in 1988. He worked/traveled with the band for three years. He left the band as Caper passed through Hollywood to pursue a solo career as a studio jazz guitarist. He was on the short list of applicants to join Barry Manilow’s backup band at the time of his death. |
